Session 4#A

2010/2011 > Raport

Session 4 group A
Some big fish and some big numbers at Milwaukee on January 30!

Five fish over 20 pounds and big numbers out of peg one highlighted an exciting day of fishing in the Group A session of the Winter Carp League on January 30th at Milwaukee.

Mike Olinger found $20 in a snowbank while filling up with gas on Sunday morning, and that was only a start to a great day. He captured 15 fish weighing 188 pounds, 14 ounces to earn five points from peg one. His 27-4 carp toward the end of the session worked wonders for his overall average.
Six or seven pounds separated 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place as that race went right down to the wire. Adam Holodok, from peg five, took the 4 points at the closing bell with 74 pounds, 10 ounces and a nice 20-12.

Larry Hemmens, at peg four, took big fish of the day honors with a huge 28-4 and also won three points with 70 pounds, 13 ounces of carp.
Tracy Jourdan hauled in 2 big fish (20-8 and 25-3 out of peg two) and, with a few other carp, totaled 68 pounds, 7 ounces for two points on the day.
Andy Burnagiel drew that tough peg 3 and picked up a point.
The day saw lots of sun with a few broken clouds and a high of 28°. Water temperature was 49°. It was a fun and productive session!
