Session 2 group A

Fresh snow and a cold wind greeted us in Milwaukee for our second session this year. Only three made the peg draw time and we quickly drew everything but the end pegs. That left #1 and #5 available for the late arrivals. Throw the lunar tables out the door. The predicted first hour "haul fest' was a total bust. Things warmed up in a hurry when Adam nailed some of his largest fish of the day on peg #4 and Andy caught fire on peg #3....pun intended! You'll have to ask him about the new "ventilation" hole on his shelter. Mike kept me busy netting and weighing his fish. Later in the day, he kept me running to wake him long enough to reel in the fish. In all fairness, he was listening to the Bears' game! Besides, I had nothing better to do on peg#2. With plenty of time on my hands, I had a chance to measure 4" of the white stuff and water temperature at 50 degrees. To add insult to injury, I nailed a very nice fish at 3:02P, as we were clearing our lines! Reporting duties will be handled by Tracy at the next outing. I had to choose between Milwaukee or San Diego for January 2nd. No offense Milwaukee, but you lost! Good luck to everyone.
