Group C First Session

Summary for Group C in the 1st Round of W.C.L. Pegs were drawn at 6 am. Jacob in # 5, Greg in # 4,Mihai in #3, Ed in # 2 and Istvan in # 1. Fishing started at 7am- light mist, mild breeze,air temp. about 46, sky was overcast and stayed that way the entire day.First fish on the bank at 7:45 from peg # 4
and that is how the rest of the day played out - with Pegs # 4 and # 5 producing steadily and pegs # 1, # 2 and # 3 trying to attract and hook a few stragglers

At the buzzer it was Jacob with 5 points, Greg with 4 points,Ed with 3 points , Istvan with 2 points , and Mihai with 1 point. It seem like the fish are getting bigger- with 4 fish over 20 lbs fought and landed and Jacob taking over the big fish lead with a 22lb +. Like last year it appears Peg # 5 will be the hot spot,( practice those peg draws ! ) we will see how it plays out. Good luck to Group D next week. Happy Thanksgiving to all.
