The latest report from the league venue

Teo Chankov and I fished the venue on Friday. I wasn't expecting a fast bite with the massive change in barometric pressure, recent high winds, and cold temperatures. We weren't dissapointed. The water temperature was a surprising 58 degrees but a bit muddy. This got worse during the day with many barges passing through the area. Each of us did manage to scratch out three fish, up to mid-teens. I lost one more to a barge and a couple more while dining on Teo's great food. Can't wait for the season to start. I'll be bringing the stove/grill and we'll be doing the great Wisconsin tradition of brats & kraut.
